Situated close to the grounds of IIT Mumbai and named after the Framaji Kavasji Powai Estate, the Powai Lake is a fake lake in the northern suburb of Mumbai. Popular to be one of the well known lakes in Mumbai, the Powai Lake was built in 1890 and is a calming spot to appreciate nature taking care of business.
